
I am Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics of the Universidad de La Laguna in Tenerife, Spain.
My two main research fields are Macroeconomics and Public Economics. I have worked in economic growth and the development process and its interaction with corruption and predation. I am interested in Behavioral economics and its applications to tax evasion, criminal activity and macro topics in general, as well as, Political Economics and its contribution to explain public finance issues and intergenerational problems.
I also am interested in Labor and Household Economics. In these fields, I have developed studies on female labor supply, fertility decisions and intergenerational composition of households.
